pick: you have a strong GPA and great SAT scores, along with (I assume) good ECs (if by "clubs," you mean you have more ECs). Do you have any other honors/awards? I'd say slight reach - high match, though it depends largely on your essays.

dmission: though I haven't actually seen your ECs and/or honors/awards, I can say it's probably a reach, as both your GPA and SAT fall a bit below the average. If your essays are really great, you just might stand a better chance.

German high-school graduate (male)

expected "Abitur" certificate with an average of 1,6-1,8 (would you please help me to transfer this to the American grade system?)

I intend to study business administration at Berkeley(if it is possible), so I would have to apply to the college of Letters and Science at first?

important ECs
active member of a central-left party in Germany
leader of a theatre project group
author of my school's magazine project group

SAT not yet

b0oks123: good GPA and SAT, good ECs and okay honors/awards. I'd say high match.

germanapplicant: Are you an international? If so, Berkeley is most likely a reach. Given what you have, I'd say it'd be a reach even if you were in-state.

mmeyers: your GPA is a bit weak, as are your ECs, though your SAT is good. Applying to a competitive major lowers your chances. I'd say reach.
