@ijmom - I am not sure if the Cal. Alum Assn. can access the data whether one submitted the SIR. I would think that may be a violation of the privacy policy, as the Alum association is an independent organization. As far as I know they only have access to the application, as I remember agreeing to something along those lines during submit of the application.
Maybe somemom will jump in and clarify this for us.

I've sent in an email..
I've sent the Alumni Scholarship address an email requesting the status of my interview on April 23rd. I'll let you know when they give me some information. They must be freaking out as much as we are not having this done yet. As far as I know, this is the first year this has happened.

They replied and said if you had a phone interview the last couple of weeks of April, you'll hear back toward the end of May.

I'm sorry to say, but this is seriously ridiculous. In the san jose (norcal) area we were told that they were late in doing interviews, sent us the wrong date for the interviews (later corrected), and told us we would recieve a follow up email on May 3rd. Still haven't gotten that email...

@snappy - looks like only the south bayarea has to wait till May end. All other areas seem to have their act together. Oh well...
