IB results for UC Berkeley

Hi,
I'm an IB diploma student and I got accepted to UCB for the fall 2008.
I was wondering if we have a specific grade we have to get on our exams to maintain our acceptance. They only said something like "maintain an average of B" or something like that in our grades (and external examinations)...
But (as many of you probably know), the IB is on a 7 point scale... So whats an A? whats a B? Are 7-6 considered As or is 6 considered a B?

I dunno, I read that for AP exams, people don't even have to take them or something?!?! (But I know that IB is different so its probably not a good idea to compare the two)

Are any of the other IBers having the same problem??

Thanks.

p.s Good luck on your exams!!!

There is another thread in this forum (Please, please help with IB credit) which answers your questions. Good luck!

When the say maintain a B average it does not pertain to IB tests it only applies to the classes. If you stated that you would be taking the test all you ahve to do is take the tests it doesnt even matter if u fail all of them as long as you take them. The B average is for class.
