Is it possible to transfer from UCB to Harvard Law school?

Just wondering....I want to major in rhetorics in ucb, then go to boalt hall. But then I was thinking, man, what if I apply to harvard's law school and get in? That would be nice....lol, VERY nice....

So what is the possibility? First off I will transfer from a cc with a 3.73 (maybe 3.76) gpa to cal using igetc, then 2 years of majoring in rhetorics, and ASSUMING a 3.8, maybe 3.9 gpa after the 2 yrs.

Afterwards, how hard would it be for me to get into

1) Boalt Hall

2) Transfer to Harvard's SOL

just throw your ideas out there, this isn't a do or die lol

Why do you need to transfer from Boalt to Harvard? Why can't you just go straight to Harvard Law?

With your GPA, I would start preparing for the LSATs; when do you plan on taking them?

after my major, so that would be 2011 (i wold go to berkely for 08-09, then 09-10, but i would have not time to study for the lsats in the time of the october testing, therefore i would throw it to the june of the nxt year, june of 2011)

Hmm transfer students in general have a tough time their first semester because of competition with current students who have 2 years of berkeley academics under their belt. I would advise you to see how your first semester goes first..

That is a big assumption to get a higher GPA in berk than in a cc.

You will find the grading standards in UC Berkeley Rhetoric courses to be extremely harsh. I recommend spending a lot of time in office hours and preparing drafts of your papers WAY ahead of time to get lots of freedback.

How do you expect to transfer into Berkeley at an upper division level and do better than you did at a community college?
