Do I need to take math?

If i get a 5 on the calculus BC exam and I'm planning on majoring in Economics and Pre Business. Both departments say you can fulfill their calculus prereq with a 5 on the BC exam so should I still take math courses?

or should I just skip 16A and take 16B

If you're confident in your ability then there should be no reason why you shouldn't completely skip out of math!

If you can AP out of math for a non-math-based major (compared to math itself or engineering, for example), then I'd suggest doing so.

I'm not confident really in my math ability ._. But i heard 16A was pretty easy. So is it a good idea to take 16B without taking 16A first?

catalog description: Application of integration of economics and life sciences. Differential equations. Functions of many variables. Partial derivatives, constrained and unconstrained optimization.

not very familiar with any of those topics @_@;;; except maybe differential equations. Do people who skip 16A and take 16B end up getting A's or doing poorly?

Well adding onto what Azure said, there's no reason to put yourself through unneeded misery if you can avoid it.
