Question about how to get my Cal 1 Card

I was wondering if I could use my HS ID, as proof, to get my Cal Card. On the FAQ on the website it said I could, but it also says that it must be government issued. I am not sure but I doubt that a HS ID is government issued. So has anybody used a high school ID to get his or her cal card?

Thanks, I was freaking because I lost my license and a passport takes too long. I plan to get it in a couple of days while going to SF.
