Waitlist FULL/NO Waitlist Physics 7a/Math 53, What to do?

Hi, I enrolled in Math 1B but recently came to my senses to take Math 53 instead because I took the equivalent of 1a/1b in high school. I also wanted to change out of Physics For Future Pres. to Physics 7a, in case I want to change my major from Business to engineering or double majoring. Now I have two dilemmas that I'm sure many other freshmen have right now:

Physics 7a does not use a waitlist. I called and ask they said to check everyday to see if there're any openings...***

Math 53's waitlist is full (Hutchings only because thats the only one that will fit my schedule and Teleman doesn't seem as good of a teacher).

So from your previous experiences, what are one's chances of getting into these two classes in this situation.
