EECS Spring 09 Telebears.. which phase I, which phase II?

Hi everyone,

As an eecs major freshman I'm wondering which of these classes I should register for during phase I and which during phase II.

Math 54
Physics 7B
Slavic R5B
CS 61B

I'm pretty sure I'm going to phase I Slavic because there's one particular section I'd prefer to be enrolled in (so I can avoid 8AM classes). Also I'd like to get the afternoon physics section if possible as opposed to the 8AM one. On the other hand, I'm not really concerned as to which Math 54 lecture section I get. BUT, I'd like to get into CS 61B for sure (with Shewchuk) and I'm concerned that schedule.berkeley says there's a limit of 150 enrollment for the spring course :/ Will that limit be raised? Should I consider Phase I-ing CS instead of physics for that reason?

If I have to waitlist for something I am not TOO worried.. I waitlisted for two courses in the fall (one of which was during phase I, CalSO, lol) and ended up getting into both. So.. does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

yeah that arrangement was my initial gut feeling as well. however, should i be worried about getting into 61B in phase 2? mine's on december 4, and the schedule site says the seat limit is 150 (hopefully it'll be raised?)
