Disregarding prestige, number of nobel laureates, and other things of that sort, could someone tell me what else makes Cal appealing? My other choices are UCD, UCSD, and Wesleyan University. I'm still waiting for Stanford, Columbia, and Tufts to give me a response, but let's assume that they accept me just for the purpose of answering this question. What makes Cal a better choice than the other six?
I applied as a biochemistry major but I might switch into other fields of biology or chemistry.
