That's each, but it includes food, well I think like 2 meals a day.

Works out to about 1.5 meals a day on the basic plan, unless you buy two breakfasts instead of a breakfast and something else.

So if I have the basic plan I can't make it buying a lunch and a dinner each day?

Go to the buffet-style dining halls and sneak food in your bag!

Because you won't want to eat 3 meals a day at the dining commons.

Can you use your meal points for non-meal stuff? Like if you went to the Cal Store, could you buy a shirt or something with it? (Not using the money you put in your Cal debit card, but using your meal points themselves.)

there's snacks stuff at the GBC (on campus), Ramona's (on campus), smoothies at Peet's, and some other stuff at Cub Market (at Foothill). GBC has the most stuff - lots of snacks, drinks, and some frozen foods.

Lol, if $11600 was for all three people, there would be a LOT more returning students in the dorms their second year.
