Bringing a TV and/or video game console to the dorms?

Moving out in a week, and still unsure about some stuff i should bring... Any advice on whether or not i should bring my tv and ps3? I'm not really sure where i coudl even put them since the rooms are so small, but i've also heard some people say its a waste not to at least bring along a tv..

Bring them.

You are paying for cable already, so you should bring a TV
Bring your PS3, it serves you better in your dorm (even though you won't have much time for it) than collecting dust at home

Bring the PS3. I might get bored and need to play it.

If you're in a triple, you can place it on the two desks next to one another so that the tv is split half half between those two desks.

my friend placed his tv and ps3 on his desk, but his tv isn't really big, probably the size of a desktop monitor. he then only had enough space on his desk to put some books.
