thinking about declaring these majors

i was wondering if anyone has any input on these majors:

im in l&s btw

chemical engineering (might apply for transfer, unlikely to get in though given my grades this semester)
MCB
cognitive science
chemistry (L&S)
geophysics

im interested in all of these majors, but i need more input. any thoughts on rigor of materials, professors, competitiveness of students, job outlook?

Chemistry in College of Chemistry. MCB is overpopulated.

chemistry in CoC will destroy your gpa unless you're good at chemistry and you love it.

@ j0:

see that's what i thought too then i looked on this page:

L&S Majors - List of Majors

and it shows chemistry as a major under physical sciences

are there two chemistry degrees? one being BA and another being BS?

Chemical Engineering would have the best job outlook, without a doubt. It shouldn't be to hard to transfer into CoC. ChemE is also probably the most rigorous of the majors you've chosen, however.
