What month do apartment leases usually begin?

I am living at Unit 3 now, and probably going to move out to an apartment next year, but I will be staying here for the summer too. For planning purposes, can someone tell me what month apartment leases usually start? I'm hoping for minimal downtime between dorm closing and apartment moving in.
