AP scores replacing Classes....

so as i look through the Haas application....it says that we can include our AP scores .......so my question is...do AP scores change our GPA?

no, only classes you took at Berkeley will count toward your GPA. The AP credits are just credits.

I have spoken to Berkeley about classes taken at other institutions counting towards the berkeley gpa, but only college classes.

On the AP credit page, it says "These tests must have been taken before admission to the College of Letters and Science." What does that mean, that we don't get credit for ap tests we took this past may, because that was after admission? Doesn't make any sense . . .

Sadly, it means that we can't take the ap tests after we start school. This means that, after having college level work, we can't go back and take the ap test with all of the high school kids. I WOULD do this to get out of the R&C, but yeah . . . they saw the loop hole and closed it. I think some schools allow students to take ap tests after enrolling, but not many.

but if we're gonna be freshman in the fall, ap tests we took back in may still count right?

Of course, althoug you were admitted to the college then, you were not really- it was really only with lots of conditions to fulfill. Call if you're worried, cause i'm sure not.
