What's your opinion of double major in Astrophysics and Physics

Hey guys, I'm a 2014 incoming freshman and I'm wondering what you guys think about a double major in Astrophysics and Physics. I'm also planning to join Dr. Filippenko's research team in the incoming fall semester; I've already contacted him. Any thoughts/comments? Is this doable?

Probably gonna be taking Math 53 + Physics 7ABC Honors + Astronomy 7A

Maybe you should just major in physics then narrow your focus in grad school, but if most of the classes overlap, I say go for it.

It's doable, but you should keep in mind that you don't need to major in something to learn about it, or even take classes in it.
