im an incoming freshman in civil engineering and i have a couple of scheduling questions

1. is it better to take chem1a or physics 7a the first semester?
or does it matter?

2. which classes should i sign up for in phase 1?

e10, physics 7a, civil engin seminar ce92, or my r&c course?

3. does taking advance chinese cover the r&c requirement?

1. A lot of people choose chem1a first semester then physics 7a in spring. although i prefer the other way around since there are no pre-med students in chem 1a in the spring.
2. physics 7a (or chem1a) and your r&c for sure.
3. no, foreign language won't cover your r&c.
