I recently got admitted in to UC Davis as a transfer student and I'm pretty excited for that. After looking in to my major in depth I'm pretty much at a standstill.

I am looking to major in either International Relations, Sociology, or Communications and minor in another.

All three majors interest me but what I want to know is which is the smartest choice. I understand my career choice will make a big difference but truthfully I don't really have an idea.

These are the basic questions that I need help with. Please shed some light. Thanks!

Which major is the easiest?

Which major will be the most beneficial after graduation?

Which minor is most logical paired with the major?

I think Comm would obviously be the easiest, which is my assumption of why it's impacted at most schools.

It's really hard to say which would be most beneficial to have a degree in because it depends on what you are interested in. If you like politics/law/and possibly traveling then Int'l Relations would be perfect.

If you enjoy research and studies then Sociology. Although, Davis has a few different types of sociology majors, so each one could be a different path.

I would say the latter two are what would be best, but again if you don't actually enjoy either then you might as well do Comm.

As for minors, they all could relate to each other. If it were me I'd major in Socio and minor in I.R, but that's just what I enjoy.
