I got accepted into both UCSD and Davis, but for some reason UCSD is giving me way more money than Davis. I also got Chancellors from UCSD, which is a big incentive. However, I don't really like the social scene around UCSD, and I'd rather go to UCD but they are only giving me loans..So if I decided to go to UCSD and hated it, could I transfer? Would it be easier since I'm transferring from a "higher" uc to Davis?

If you plan to transfer we would recommend transferring from a California Community College (CCC). The UC schools will consider all junior level applicants from CCC’s before any other applicants at the transfer level. Also using http://assist.org you can tell what classes at the CCC you should be taking to properly prepare you for your major at Davis.
