Chance for UC Davis and the others

weighted GPA:3.56
unweighted GPA:3.31
Theater major ( Dramatic art for Davis)
Low-income
Mom went to community college for a year (otherwise first gen)
Number of semester taken: 41 semester by beginning of senior year
Volunteer: 200+ hours
I was President of the chess club and then vice-president.
CSF: freshmen, soph, and jr year, and maybe senior
Track: soph and jr year
Awards: volunteer of the year award and Dragonboat 3rd place medal
Really good personal statement done!
ACT: 28
SAT: 1410 (i just crashed under pressure)
SAT2: need to take ( took practice Math2: 720 & U.S. History: 680 )
I was wondering if i can just put my ACT and still get in?

They're gonna see your sat scores regardless of how you did because when you send in your sat IIs it sends in everything. Also, your g.p.a. is kinda low so it may be a reach. The 28 on the act is not bad, but its not a sure thing at all.

If your ACT is better than your SAT, then they will use your ACT score.

From the UC Davis General Catalog (http://registrar.ucdavis.edu/UCDWebC.../freshman.html)

"If you take both the SAT Reasoning Test and the ACT Assessment, we will use the test that gives you the higher score in our admissions decision."

Get the SAT up a few hundred and you'll get in fine.
