I have a friend who was just admitted yesterday (as a freshman for fall '08). Isn't this a little early? She's an easy admit, but probably not on the regents level or anything.

Although students might have been guaranteed Admissions, like ELC students, we have not made any admissions decisions for Fall 2008 yet.

She said she got a package with "Congratulations, you have been admitted...." inside. She's not the ultra-competitive type that would lie or anything. Said she got one from Irvine and UCR as well. (I asked her about ELC, and she said it was not that-I don't believe she even qualifies for it).

UCD: When are regents scholars announced/contacted?

That's interesting considering they haven't released anything yet...

She has to be ELC.
