So admission to UC Davis is 100% for all ELC students for the class of 2010?

I am sure it's still that way.
If you are an ELC student, you'll know before you start your application. I also got a guaranteed admission letter from UCSB, UCR, and UCI. So you'll probably get letters from many UCs.

I read somewhere that if you are an ELC student, you are guaranteed admission to at least one of the UCs.

I have a question: does ELC guarantee that I get into UCD for any major? For example, if I apply as an engineer major, am I still guaranteed a spot?

Our daughter received a letter from UC Davis yesterday, specifying that she is guaranteed admission into her first choice major. UCSB and UCR sent postcards offering guaranteed admission, but not mentioning a promise of first choice major. UCI sent a letter and catalog describing their honors program, though I didn't see a guarantee of admission in that mailing.

In the UCI letter, it said that admission to certain schools (like the College of Engineering) isn't guaranteed.
