Question so, who's going?

Any of you considering attending UC Davis this fall?

Where do you live? What doesn't Davis have that you'd like to have in a college?

From what I've seen, it seems like a great college town.

I think the number of things to do really depends on the person.

Maybe if you're someone who needs to be entertained and needs to be out and always DOING SOMETHING, Davis might seem 'boring.' If you are someone who can have a great time hanging out with friends or other creative activities I hear Davis offers, then ... well, you shouldn't have a problem.

But, I like that Davis is a college town, and that not many students go home on the weekends. Maybe it being 'boring' will ensure that more friends are made. I live next to UCLA, and I never wanted to go there because it's so fast-paced and I never got the 'community feeling' I want while on the campus - everyone seems to go to class, stick with their few friends, get class done, get off campus, and scatter all throughout the city. It might not be like that but that's how it felt to me. So, I'm considering Davis for the very things others categorize as "boring."

(Also, think how different every person's interpertation of 'boring' is.)

At least that's my opinion, of course, I have yet to visit next month.

ive been to davis, and their parties get crackin. If you can't find anything to do, that's your fault and you need to learn to be a little bit social

I totally agree with Weirdhobo! Right now I'm waiting for stupid UC Irvine to send out their decisions that I've been waiting for so long!! My chances at Berkeley are practically 0 so yeah. UC Davis woohoo!

UCI has been by far the most random in sending out acceptance notices. Though I did not apply (too close to home) a friend is STILL waiting as you are, someguy1337.

I'm from SoCal! I hope it won't be too tough to adjust to Norcal.
