Change into College of Engineering

Is it possible to do this after 1 quarter?
It says you must complete like 3 course, but if it's right away, can you?

thanks,
Dmission

well, that's what i'm talking about
it says;
You must:

1. be a registered student and have completed at least one quarter (minimum of 12 units) at UC Davis;
2. have completed not more than 135 cumulative units (excluding AP units); students who have completed more than 135 units will be considered on an appeal basis only;
3. be in good academic standing and meet minimum progress requirements;
4. have received a letter grade for all courses that satisfy Engineering degree requirements, and
5. have completed MAT 21A, B, C: PHY 9A and CHE 2A each with a grade of C- or better and a GPA in these five courses of 2.0 or better

does that mean (#5) that you can't really do it until after a year?

It depends on AP units you have. If you took the calculus BC test and are excused from 21A you could do it in two quarters. Just let your advisor know what you want to do and make sure you take the needed courses. Are you thinking of switching to computer engineering instead of computer science?

I got on a 4 on it, which can excuse me from: Mathematics 12, 16A, 17A or 21A (i think)

Yes it does. Good job BTW. You can finish the requirments in two quarters. Are you switching to CE? If engineering is your plan you will need to take 21B. Be sure to review you chemistry for the placement test.

Trying to, yeah.
What would you advise taking the first two quarters then so I can switch?
Just Phys9a one and then chem the next one?

Thanks for the help, btw

No problem, my son will be majoring in CE.

Look at this and use it as a guide.
