so, what would my chances be of getting into a class if i dropped it, and then picked up the same class but different time. i've looked at the open courses list and there's only like one spot :-x. for any other class, with more spots than one lol, is it kind if likely if i do at light speed?

also, if i waitlist one of these classes, but it conflicts with my current schedule, do i just leave one class early? u know how they said going to class the first day was important even for waitlists.

yeah i know it's a pipedream :-/

You have a decent shot. Last year I dropped chem and calc, picked different times (was waitlisted). I got into both.

denneyk: You can check your Pass 2 time on your myucdavis page.

Weirdohobo: Open Registration on August 23-24 (which is right now) is for new students to sign up for classes (that are probably opened now compared to not being opened during their Pass 1). I think it's for the whole day... you can check the hours that it's opened on the website.
