University of California schools admission question

Hello guys! I am new to this site so hopefully this question is relevant. I am a sophmore in HS and just finished. So last year, I really did badly in English 9H and received a D+ 2nd semester. I went to a U.C certified summer school place and I took it. Looking back, I see on the transcript from there it saids English 9 Fall semester - 5 credit. The problem is that I received a D+ in 2nd...not 1st like it saids on the transcript. I remember they said its the same.

My question is that should I be worried? Will the UC's accept my D ? Should i be even worried since they dont count freshman year? Help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Receiving a D grade will prevent you from using that semester of that course to satisfy the a-g requirements for UC or CSU. Freshman year grades do not become part of the admissions GPA, but courses completed with C or higher grades do count toward the a-g requirements.
