How does taking UC classes in HS factor into GPA?

I took two classes at UC Berkeley last summer and got B+'s in both of them. Would the UCs treat these the same way they do for junior college classes (as in equating them to an AP class)? I found the Berkeley classes to be incredibly more difficult than the JC classes I have taken nearby. It doesn't seem very logical to me if they were considered equal.

I don't think they CAN equate it as anything more than a CC class when they factor in GPA, but they'll likely take note that you took this class at a UC. How much that'll help you might differ from schools, but with schools like LA and Berkeley *supposedly* considering an uncapped UC GPA, it might influence an adcom's ultimate decision.

Yeah thats what I was hoping for. It would be kind of weird to have double weight anyway. And it'd be a sort of ridiculous boost. I was just thinking about it, and I was starting to sort of regret not taking the equivalent classes at the JC since I'd probably get an A there.
