A few weeks ago, some people I know recieved "Count Me In" postcards from UC Merced. The concept is that if you go the website on the card and enter a special code on that's on it you can apply to UC Merced for free. The thing is, not everyone who applied to a UC received this postcard. Do you think that receiving/not receiving this postcard means anything, or do you think UC Merced sent them out haphazardly?
I would contact UC Merced, they should be able to discuss what population the message was sent to. I doubt they sent the message out haphazardly, they had a similar program last year so I assume they decided to continue the program this year.
