Emergency!!!!!!!! Help!!

HI,
My friend is planning on attending UCR in the fall and needs to fill out her SIR. The problem is her family is going through a hard time, and she cant pay the $100 fee. Is there any way the school could wave the fee? Please help. The thing is due tomorow and she is freaking out!
