| You get one 'grade point' for each of the eight courses. It has nothign to do with the grade you earned.
For example, if someone took only 2 AP classes, they would have the 'grade points' for all their classes increased by 2 before dividing by the number of classes. This generates the UC weighted GPA.
If someone took 16 AP classes, they would get the max of 8 'grade points' added. It wouldn't matter which they looked at. They take the unweighted grades from all your classes, add the 8 points, then divide by the number of classes. |
