3.0 WEIGHTED or UNWEIGHTED

Does anyone know whether the minimum GPA for Senior year to keep your admission decision is 3.0 Weighted or unweighted?

I'm pretty sure it's weighted too. There were big discussions throughout CC on this, and UCI weighs your GPA.

when u log on to ur MyAdmissionsWebsite at admissions.uci.edu .. there's a titled : Reminder about your Provisional Admission

Per our Freshman Contract, your admission is subject to cancellation if you:

Do not receive a high school diploma or equivalency.

Obtain less than 3.00 weighted GPA in A-G courses in senior year.

Receive a D or F grade in senior year in any A-G or college course.

this is only part of it

Yes the D or F only pertains to what is shown on the transcript you will be sending in at the end of the school year, which is soon. You're good to go.

Okay, so lets say I get a 3.6 Weighted GPA first semester, and then a 2.8 second semester.... That'll be okay, right???

it depends what u are getting in ur other classes. i believe pluses and minuses are not accounted for on final transcripts. I think you should email the uci admissions people just in case. Or you can always call them.
