^ lol same here.
& i also wrote about irvine being the closest UC campus to home, so that i'd be able to come home often to help my mom since she's all alone.

Is your mom sick or old or something which will let the reader know she cannot be left alone? If so, and you included it in your letter, you should get accepted no problemo.

yeah I heard about someone who got accepted into Berkeley asap for that reason.
