| Write (email) your admissions counselor. You'll get an automated response, probably. If you brought up your AP calculus grade this semester, the first semester D will probably be considered "atypical" and won't hurt you, provided you graduate. (Talk to your teachers and try hard to avoid a second D.)
If your AP test scores are 3 or higher, you should be okay.
Another thing you might do to show you aren't being a slacker is to take the course in summer school, either at UC or a community college. A passing grade (C or higher) will make up for a failing high school grade. |
