Can I get into UC Irvine? Please Read & Help

So I'm a Junior turning into a Senior in the fall & im really worried about colleges in general. I really want to go to Irvine as my future college but i dont know if my grades can get me in. ive been slacking off highschool year & actually started trying this year, haha which is pretty pointless
but anyways i have

GPA: 3.1 <--- gonna go up alittle because junior year second semester isnt added
SAT1 : 1790
SAT2: Korean 740
Chem: 610
im going to try to break a 2000 on sat 1
and korean im FORSURE going to get 800..hopefully.
& im going to try to raise chem and math to at least 700

I have alot of volunteer hours, around 250?
im in NHS & CSF

if you guys can get back to me that would be great!
& please no negative comments! thank you!

gpa too low, 0%

if u bring sat up to 2000 (which is unlikely based on first score), then 20% because GPA too low

I got in with a Lower SAT score then you and so did my friend. We were both in the 1600-1700 ranges BUT the friend was a CRAZY swimmer and I had a 4.0+ UC GPA. IF you have a VERY excellent essay you should be able to tip the scales in your favor. Good SAT's and Essay and EC's should get you in, even if your GPA is a bit low.

Is that your UC GPA or school GPA ? UC GPA tends to be higher depending on how your school does GPA.

Hmmm because your GPA is on the low end of the spectrum, I'd say try raising that SAT score A LOT. I had a lower SAT score than you, but my GPA was a 3.9 so that compensated a lot for me.

if you get your gpa up, dont' worry abuot taking all those ap classes just take regular classes and get A's to get your gpa up. yea you have to break the 2000 on your SAT 1's. i reccommend just taking easy classes to bring up your gpa and jsut focusing on your SAT scores a bit more. oo Also, apply as undeclared, cuz if you apply as bio or chem, they will reject you one the spot.

after you get in as undeclared you can change your major easily by proving to them that you are doing well in your uci courses. I haven't heard about any major issues about changing majors.
