question about graduating

i just bought the 2008-2009 catalogue at uci book store. in the EE section, it says that most people require more then 4 years to graduate. how likely is that going to be for me. are there any successful EE people that are able to graduate in 4 years?

I would actually buy the catalogue as a freshman.

Sure, there's an online version, but it changes every year. The requirements that you are responsible for are the ones in the catalogue that comes out your freshman year. So if you look online when you're a junior, you'll see that year's catalogue, not the one from your freshman year.

It only costs like $7-8 right?

Actually the year's catalogue doesn't change. There's just a new one. So... there's no point in buying one unless you really want one.

2006-07 UCI Catalogue: Table of Contents
2007-08 UCI General Catalogue
2008-09 UCI General Catalogue

If you don't know what year you've entered college..... buy a calender... it's cheaper.
