transcripts

does anyone know if we can have our school give us our official transcript so we can mail it ourself?

at my school, you can't get an official copy for yourself (even to just have in your hands, regardless of what you were going to do w/it) because it's only for schools... you can only get an unofficial. but i had to mail mine myself thanks to other issues.

you should call your school to ask and do it asap

my school said that they have to mail it themselves so we can't mail it ourself. i hope they do it soon.

yup mine has been received. just in case if you don't know, you can check whether they got it or not in the myadmissions page. 2008 ap scores have been posted as well. if you don't see transcripts as needed in blue font then they probably have received it.

for the final transcript, u can go to myadmissions and then go to the myschool tab and it'll show u whether it's received or not.

id give it a couple more days and if theyre still not there, then u should call and check

My shchool mails it out for us. You put the addresse on it and they take care of the rest. However its 7/8 right now and apparently Irvine still doesn't have it. YIKES

I got a call from UCI saying that they haven't recieved transcripts yet, so I called my high school and they said that most high schools send them this week, so if you got a call too, don't worry, they'll probably recieve them soon.

well at my school it was necessary for the school to mail the official transcript to UCI with a stamp and a seal. but we could also get the official transcript from our school adn mail it ourself since UCI would just check if the envelope seal or stamp had been tampered with.
