Cal Grant

how does this work? if the amount you were granted is close to the tuition fees does that mean you're going to have to make up the rest? or will they help you out with more money? also, does the cal grant interfere with housing aid?

I saw a fin aid discussion from last year, and it looked like students were recieving fairly large sums of aid from just the university itself (several $8,000 to $10,000 aid packages-not too shabbby)
I'm sure this is determined based on your remaining need after cal grants, pell grant, and EFC.
I think aid awards were released April 14th last year. Very soon!
