I still haven't gotten mine, and i sent in my real estate information a couple of weeks ago.

I was just wondering if anyone was in the same situation as I am?

I actually just got mine yesterday. I don't know if it was because I had sent them an email telling them that it was getting close to the fee deadline and I still hadn't received my award.

Try doing that. They had mine up within 24 hours after the email. lol

whats their email address? I always try to email those dumbasses but can't since they have "high inflow" or whatever. I turned in everything at the right time at their specific date but now they say my application is late??

I received my financial awards early on for 15 thousand dollars but they took that away because they needed additional forms...i turned them in and they give me jack squat. what a crappy financial office, they take 3 weeks to even process a form.

@faust_arp, when you say "at the right time at their specific date", does that mean the last DAY you can turn everything in?

They only give us only a deadline. So it could have been late when you turned your things in at the deadline date.


However, it is almost impossible to get in human contact with the FA office unless you actually visit them. Phone contact won't work, voice-mail won't work, e-mail = maybe.. try it.

But if you can prove that you turned in your documents before the deadline, then the FA office is at fault, and something should happen for you..but post this in the FA FORUMS, and you are bound to get the answers you need.

Alright well I just sent them an email,

I just got mine a few days ago. It's taken months but the counselor told me to be patient and it will get there. If you have special circumstances it might take longer. The letter told me that I might have to go on the PACE program (pay in installments) but now I don't have to. They have to look at each case individually and some might take longer and I think it depends on where the money is coming from.

How far are you guys from the school?

If you live too far, I suggest keep calling. Although chances are very slim since they have 1-2 people on the phone.

Last time I visited the office, there wasn't even any one on the phone for 10 minutes while I waited in line to talk to someone. And then someone eventually was on the phone.. -_-.

Im getting restless as well :/ i've been calling fin aid for the past 3 days and all i get is the "we're busy call back later" message, and only once did i actually get the "your wait time is 20 minutes" message and after waiting 30 minutes it started to ring and the i heard a beeping sound but no answer. And I've sent 4 emails, but still no reply!

ur best bet would be to try to go in if at all possible.... they are understaffed and usually wait time to talk to them is about 10 mins in person....

sergio you're not alone. i called them for about a week straight and each time i got one of 2 messages: 1. we're overloaded call back later 2. wait 20 mins (except the wait lasted 30 mins and i was disconnected at the end, and calling back gave me message 1). they ended up never picking up the phone.

like indio said, if you're close by and have free time on your hands just visit their office in person

@khiz15 i live 2 hours away so i dont really want to go all the way over there and get some response like "oh it will be up soon just keep checking" so i'll just wait and if it isnt up within a few days of the deadline then i'll make the trip
