Hi Everyone,

My name is Jason Tran, and I'm the new president of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) UCI student chapter. Our club does many events including industry guest speakers, resume workshops hosted by companies, Las Vegas trip for the Consumer Electronic Show (CES), research lab tours, company tours (last year we , etc.

We welcome ALL ENGINEERING MAJORS as well as anyone who shares similar interests with our organization (i.e. marketing). Although we concentrate more on EE/CpE/CS/CSE/ICS majors, we have many members in these majors doing work in other fields such as mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering. We also notify of info sessions from interdisciplinary companies like Shimmick Construction.

Our first meeting is Wednesday, October 7, from 6-7PM at Donald Bren Hall (DBH 1600). We will teach you things such as how to possibly get free Windows 7!
