I am a biomed engineering premed major and wanted to know if EECS 12 was required of if it was just like an elective. Basically do i have to take that class to get units towards my major?

It's required (one of the core classes).

If you took any computer programming classes in community college, you can check it up on assist.org to see if it can count for credit tho.

I never took it so can't say what it's like. I know they're learning python right now though.
