After you log onto squirrelmail, click Options on the top. Then go to Message Filters.
Set it to:
What to scan - All messages
Then click New, and then enter the parameters you want it to filter out and what to do with the message. For instance, if I could choose to filter all emails with FROM: @career.uci.edu, or simply Subject lines, whatever your preference.
Here's an example of mine:
If [Parameter: From, Message Subject, Etc] contains [whatever you're filtering] then move to [Folder or Trash]
[Edit] [Delete] [Down] - If From contains
career@uci.edu then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains @uloop.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
customerservice@fafsa.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
vsa.ucirvine@gmail.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
jclark258@gmail.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
scholarships@fcsnewsletters2.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains University Communications then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
no-return@uloopmail.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains @uloopmail.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
ocnguyen@gmail.com then move to Trash
[Edit] [Delete] [Down | Up] - If From contains
onguyen@hotmail.com then move to Trash
If you make it move to trash, then it'll automatically be deleted and you won't even see it unless you open up your trash folder (which empties itself every few days). Did you know you can also set theme colors and folders and stuff on squirrelmail? TOTALLY AWESOME, HOMIE.
