Can Engineering Majors take Writ 31?

I was wondering can engineering majors take writ 31 instead of 39c? Is there a way to find out since the general catalogue isn't completely accurate?

If so do anyone know anything about writ 31?

It 31 creative writing or poetry ? Yes, you CAN take it, however, these classes are the ones that will fill up the fastest. They aren't as many and sophmores with more units will be able to sign up for classes before you, unless you have just as many units as them. There is a general catalogue online, there's also one in print at the book store near the registers. I have known people that have done creative writing and its not necessarily any easier/harder then writing 39C since both will have their own challenges. Hope that you get a good TA/prof, or else it will be an awful quarter of writing.
