UCI refrigerator question

Ok so how strict is the UCI refrigerator limit of 4.3 cubic feet? Does someone check and what if you bring a 4.6 will you get in trouble? or will they make you take it out?

Just wondering

Is there a height limit? I found a refrigerator that is smaller than 4.3 cubic feet, but wondering if there is a height limit.

No one will probably notice other than your roommate. It's advisable to find out what your roommate is bringing. Two people can share one frig. Depending on which hall you are assigned to, two mini frig's may not fit or will make it VERY tight. There is also a community refrigerator to store larger stuff if needed.

Some students rent the mini-frig/microwave combination and split the expense. This is the only microwave allowed in the room. It saves having to haul the thing in and out unless you think you are going to need it after your freshman year.

No height limit. Floor space is limited so taking vertical space is better than horizontal.

You can check out this panoramic view of one of Mesa's rooms. I think this is one of the larger rooms. The older halls and one's in Middle Earth are a bit smaller.
