I got an email today inviting me to the engineering open house. In it, it says
Quote:
We have received your application to UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS). Your application is among those which I consider highly competitive. However, it is still too soon for admission decisions to be announced. To learn of the official decision, check the Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools (UARS) website Admission Decisions - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions in mid-to-late March. You will receive an email from UARS when decisions are available online.
<stuff about the open house>
Having reviewed your application, I want to congratulate you on your fine work in high school. I look forward to seeing you in person on Sunday, April 15.
This is the first I've heard of a UC sending out likely letters... Interesting.
Well guys, lets think about it for a minute. Why the HE'LL would UCLA invite us for an open house if we didn't get in in the first place. Think about it. If we got rejected, why the HE'LL would they want us there?
