Well i would recommend dropping one of them and taking only three classes your first quarter. There will be plenty of time to take other classes, but you should take it easy your first quarter, if only to give yourself time to relax and enjoy yourself. If you are dead set on that schedule, then no you won't die. I personally prefer having blocks of classes. Huge breaks in the day just make the day longer and give tempations to go home and skip the later classes.

Btw, that 8 am class will be painful. I had a 9am class my first quarter here. Somehow I made it to every class, but it sucked.

that looks alright...my planned schedule is pretty crazy as well...monday, wed, and fri are INSANE. but i do have tuesdays and thursdays off, except for an hour discussion on tuesday...

i took 4 classes too...i think it's manageable as long as your 4th class is a relatively easy GE.

liveforindie, are you also a first year? Also, what does your planned schedule look like?

Icarus, I am thinking about dropping Econ 1 and replacing Phil 21 with Phil 31, what do you think?

If you are living on campus, why not opt for a 2-day evening class, if available. You're not giving your brain a chance to absorb anything and to rest in between classes.

I get a headache just thinking about your schedule!

I think that would be a good switch. I really liked Phil 31 (logic) when I took it with Kaplan. Haven't heard how Parsons teaches it, but I think they all use the same computer program. The class is basically run off of a logic computer program that Prof. Kaplan designed. All of your homework, midterms, and final exams are done on that computer program. And for me, it was a very easy class because of that. I enjoy logic and can pick up new computer programs pretty easily. Logic is really a 'you get it or you don't' kinda subject I've found. People either got close to 100% in that class or did really badly.

So if you think you'd enjoy logic, then by all means take it. I didn't take 21 so I can't comment on that.
