Scheduling of Classes?

Hey guys, when do scheduling of classes begin?

And if you won qualify for College Honors as an entering freshman, do you have to start early? If so, how early? Thanks for the help!

you don't schedule classes until your orientation session.
i highly recommend, however, that you familiarize yourself with the registrar's website, ursa, and especially the my.ucla class planner function before you attend orientation. have a few schedule options with you when you see your orientation counselor. know what you're interested in, if the class is already full, and what your backups are.

with college honors, the requirements for your first year are that you complete 8 units of honors credit by the end of spring quarter, and end spring quarter with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
another website to get to know would definitely be the college honors websites. all the links should be on your my.ucla.

for now, just enjoy the rest of high school, and start planning next year over the summer once you've graduated!
