Can I change my meal plan at the beginning of each quarter? does the $25 apply even at the beginning of the quarter?

is 19 worth it? i plan to eat out at least a couple times per quarter on weekends. i'm sometimes not an early riser for breakfast esp on holidays/weekends.

**what's the last day to change meal plan w/o penalty??

You'll eat less than you order.. for sure, and the days for meal plan changes are really weird and... I think, very inconvenient and not helpful to the students. There's certain windows and junk. You can upgrade almost anytime, but downgrades are yucky.

No, if you are unsure, you can get the 19P first, and then downgrade if you feel it is too much.

But the fact is that people won't need that many meals, but it also depends on your circumstance. 19P -> 14P is flexible, but not the other way around.

Does this clarify?

Why not come, find out, and if there is, have someone mail you your precious magnets?

some res halls have metal framed beds and there should be a white board outside on your door. otherwise there arent really any magnetic surfaces.

but really....you can probably fit your magnets in your pocket so its not really a big deal to bring them....

rooms have a tack wall or tack boards, so bring thumb tacks or push pins if you want.

so about the open transfer period, you cant ask Housing to change your housing before move-in. It seems like such a hassle to move in to your room knowing you're going to have to move again in about 2 weeks.

I think that you answered your own question. Downgrades are harder because UCLA dining sevices always want your money and take advantage of unused meals. Upgrades are easy because you will be paying more.

If you are referring to Treehouse, the restaurants close at 9PM. Panda is one of them. Cooperage is open until 9:30PM and Kerchoff Coffee is open until 11:30PM. Food at 2AM is either Bruincafe, In-N-Out, cup noodles, Lamonicas on Monday, or 'other'.

Whta VTECaddict said. You can tack the wall, but not too much or you will get charged (for a plaza). As for residential halls, rooms have a tack wall and board.

Is your next question going to be "Should I bring ferromagnetic magnetic materials?" If so, the answer is yes because it provides strong attraction.
