^A bit bigger than the halls, from what I hear. No triple can be considered "roomy," however. :P

Expect a reasonably-sized bedroom, awesome living room, and minimal interaction with your neighbors, who are very likely athletes. The buildings are older than the plazas, but not bad. And there's a basketball court there.

How likely is it to get housing for winter & spring quarter (assuming I was not here for fall)?
Since it's already break, should I just assume there's no space?

Try calling in to housing ((310) 206-7011) when they open on Jan. 5th at 8AM. I know that there are beds available, but I'm not sure where/what type etc. or what the procedure to get a 2-quarter contract is.

Yeah I know there will be people leaving housing but there will also be many people applying again. I would rather them tell me early on if there are no rooms available. I sure as hell am not going to accept an offer after the quarter starts.

Which residence halls have mostly second years? If I transfer next fall, I would like to room with someone my own age. Yes, I'll be at a junior standing once I transfer, but I'm initially part of the class of 2015.

Cool, thanks Bauss!

I've heard Delta Terrace is the place to dorm if you're transfer. Anyone know if a transfer like me would have a better "freshman-like" college experience at Delta Terrace than Sproul Hall? Are the second years in Sproul Hall all well-acquainted with the campus that they're unlikely to explore the campus like freshmen or new transfers would and do other things freshmen and new transfers would do?

Sure thing! I feel like most of the people in Sproul know each other beforehand and choose to live there because it is cheaper than plazas/suites, it's social and it's in a prime location. Most of the second years in Sproul are pretty well acquainted with campus and kinda do their own thing. I have friends that are transfers that enjoy Delta Terrace and I also know some transfers in Rieber Terrace and Vista that like it there as well.

^Pretty sure that there is a bike rack next to Rieber Hall for all of Rieber Court to use. Honestly, if you're living in one of those buildings you could probably keep it in your room. From Rieber Vista/Terrace, the walk can be from under 15 minutes to about 25 minutes depending on what part of campus you need to get to.

The housing application has six drop-down menus, but only five choices. After submitting the application, they sent me an email saying that there is an error on my application, and that I cannot duplicate or leave options out. How does this work?
