Music Practice Rooms?

Hey,

I got a question, some dorms have music practice rooms in the buildings. What are they like? It would be awesome if I could find a place to jam. I play a little guitar but my real thing is drums. Is there anywhere I could find a drum set on campus that I can rock out on? Do musicians at UCLA have an easy time finding equipment they can use?

Thanks!

There's a music room with a piano in sproul hall, but it's really small. Also the room isn't really sound proof, so other people studying in the other rooms can hear your music.

I remember seeing some music rooms in a building near the court of sciences one time. I was just walking by looking through the windows and saw some people practicing some string instruments.

You can also try the music room in Rieber. I think there's 2 or more there. Sproul should be okay, since there is no residency there. You can check out a room/lecture ahll on campus at night if you have a group.

Wow! Are you serious? If I have a band I can check out a lecture hall to jam in? I'd love that!

You would need to be part of a legit campus organization to do this, but yes it is possible.

there are music practice rooms within hedrick, (two of them, i think) i've practiced in there before and its a bit small, but definitely private. and you can check them out like 24-7, if i'm not mistaken.
