Compare the requirements of history, art history, and finally, history/art-history majors.

You'll see that you have a sort've milieu of history and art history classes for the upper-division courses and a similar set of lower-divisions for history and history/art-history majors. Otherwise, judging from the course requirements, I don't see anything that would separate it so much from the individual history or art history majors whose requirements do not have the reputations of being overly competitive or hard (compared to say, impacted majors).

history is the easiest major in the school in terms of requirements. thats why all the athletes are history majors.

but of course only do the major if you have an interest in history, otherwise it woon't be so easy
