Part-time status, they take away PELL grant?

Hi all,

I have a quick question. I know it's really bad but I think I desperately need to drop one of my classes. Problem is, that would make me 10 units, which is part-time status. One of my friends did this last year, and I recall him saying that although the financial aid office don't check after Week 3, your pell grant still gets taken away for that quarter, which is approximately $1,000. Which is quite a hefty sum. Can someone verify?

Thanks

OMG, so URSA really will charge me $1,000 after this quarter if I decide to drop?

I'm not sure but depending on how you pay your tuition (monthly, quarterly), it should be the next payment..contact murphy for legit information because this is just a broad assumption..

If you need an emergency loan, you can stop by murphy and they'll provide for you, depending on your case.
